Shortness of breath is known as dyspnea which can be defined as difficulty in taking a breath. It may be hard, uncomfortable or sometimes painful to breathe. The natural response can be anxiety and panic. But the more someone panics, the more muscles in the body tend to tighten making it even more difficult to breathe.

If you’re finding trouble breathing or become out of breath during activities it is often described as an intense tightening in the chest or feeling of suffocation, however it’s normal to get a bit out of breath when exerting yourself, but it is better to take advice from doctor as soon as possible.
