Extrinsic Asthma

There are different forms of asthma and extrinsic asthma is one of it. Extrinsic asthma is caused by exposure to particular kinds of allergens like pollen and dust particles and which later develop to severe type of asthma. This type of asthma ranges mild to severe and also depending from person to person. There is no such cure for extrinsic asthma and its just that we can limit ourselves to this. Avoid being exposed to outdoor actives and there are medical treatments like asthma inhalers, bronchodilators and antiinflammatories.

Its important to know the symptoms of extrinsic asthma because incase you notice this in a person at least proper medication can be given. Excess coughing, wheezing sound while breathing, pain in the chest, conjecture in the chest or feeling tight, feeling breathless and increased mucus.

Complications of Extrinsic Asthma

asphyxia, difficulty in breathing and a person suffering from extrinsic asthma may get admitted in the hospital also.

Causes of Extrinsic Asthma

There are a number of causes which we generally overlook. These causes are the major reason that trigger extrinsic asthma. They are exposure to pollen, dust particles, animal hair, cigarette smoke and cockroach faeces. To protect yourself from all these its good to keep away from these that may trigger such causes. Always go for a routine check up to your doctor and avoid being exposed to cold weather that may worsen the problem.
